The effect is awesome....used sea sponge and sea sponge mini roller to apply....mini roller worked fairly well, had to watch for runs since the activator is equal to water consistancy, but it is a cool look. Used this product in front foyer ceiling, arched recessed area above fireplace mantel and on the ceiling in master bedroom....I highly recommend this product. Do wear PROTECTIVE WEAR AND SAFETY GLASSES.
