Use Faux Painting To Update A Small White Bathroom

by THAT Painter Lady

Hi Debra,

Here's some photos of my bathroom.  It's a guest bath, and pretty small, so it's not easy to get photos.  I love it !!!  I started with  a flat khaki base orange peel like finish, then I ragged on a darker khaki 1 part glaze, 2 parts dark khaki.  Then I used a dark brown 1 part brown, 4 parts glaze and ragged it on then off.  I just love the result.  My walls are a knock down texture…  That really helped with the effect.

These are beautiful faux painting pictures. I have such a difficult time getting good pictures of faux painting techniques. This bathroom looks amazing. You should be so proud of yourself…. GOOD JOB! :)

I love the combination of white and brown. I was thinking the dark brown might not be good for a small room but it is very powerful in this design with all the white. Great job…
