Hi Debra
I’m sending along a couple of pics of what I did in my sons room (back in the day).
I did a primary colored neighborhood scene on all 4 walls of homes and buildings complete with glow-in-the-dark windows (that glowed at night), planes, streets with lanes (that made his car bed appear as though it were going down the street, hills and kites.
Fairly child-like drawings that I eyeballed from a “children theme” wall border.
I also  painted the ceiling with clouds and stenciled glow-in-the-dark stars and painted a sun that became a moon at night using glow-in-the-dark” paint.
He had a “transportation themed room” with a Red Race Car Bed,  a “meter” piggybank, a ”Traffic Signal Light
” with the red, yellow and green lights and a Pay Phone
on the wall, all real looking and working, as well as, “children at play”, “crossing” and “stop” signs.
I also did a pastel room of greens and whites in my daughters room with hills surrounded by a picket fence and a big tree.
Funny, I never considered myself an artist but in a way I guess I kind of am.
I was just decorating (very small) rooms with paint that would normally be plain jack and jane rooms.  as Istated earlier both rooms have since been painted over.Â
