Concrete countertops are becoming very popular in the residential and commercial market. Each piece is custom designed to the owners taste. Unlike granite, various inlays, colors, textures, and shapes can be casted. We are using a chemically reactive sealer on all of our countertops that actually penetrates the surface and reacts with the chemicals in the concrete. This sealer physically makes the cement harder over time and does not have to be replaced. Also, we use a sealer internally in the mix before we cast the top so that the concrete is sealed on the inside if the top seal is ever chipped. Please give us a call at Creative Concrete Designs if you have any questions. (618) 684-6950
