You have been an inspiration to me…and your web site is truly “a work of art”.

I would love to win as “old folks” need a new way of looking at their home…and making it more pleasing and up-to-date.

Thank you for sending me your newsletters….and
win or loose the contest, I am still a winner by discovering your site.

Hi
I recently ordered your Faux Bricks and I painted several on my walls in my kitchen and den area. They turned out great! I would love any product that you are giving away. I figured since the faux brick products worked well, how can I go wrong with anything you suggest. Additionally, I found your video to be very helpful and detailed (the Faux Bricks). Thank you for your product. The website is great. Continue to stay current.

Boy! Do I just love you and your work! Thanks for all the positive(and negative) tips you sent me. The new site is simply outstanding.. three Ooorah’s as we say in Marine Corp talk to you, and as you always tell me “KEEP PAINTING!” I’ve been trying to go into business for myself, and just having a time of it. I’ve been painting wall murals since I was a boy( starting in my own room when I was 12), and I never knew that this medium had a name “FAUX ART”. I’ve done so many beautiful wall murals since then, and my lovely wife Bernadette(Bernie for short) has been encouraging me since we left Hawaii (her and my childrens birth place). People are even swamping me with requests for prints of my original artwork(askart.com/raymondgrant), I just don’t know where to start. I’m unemployed right now and winning this contest would be all the validation I need to “jump in the pool” so to speak and get the train rolling towards starting “Grant by design” wall windows and imaginariums started. Wish me luck! And thanks for all you’ve done for this beautifully exciting business. Keep the opinions and information coming. Stay bless!

I would love to win these great prizes. I am living in a dark, dingy 1980’s brown kitchen with tacky wallpaper. I really hope to redo the cabinets, counters, and floor with faux painting. I love your new site. Thanks

First time to the site & I’ve enjoyed it thus far. I’m always doing something to my home & use bunches of faux finishing techniques and am always looking for inspiration. I could use the prizes being offered to keep my home projects going. I’ll be back to the site now tha I’ve discovered it!

I love getting ideas for painting faux finishes. I like painting and having people not believe that I didn’t spend more money on “the real thing”.
Thanks

Elaine Fucito Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 7:51 pm

I would like to start off by saying WOW! love the look of the site. You have done a marvelous job with it. I have purchased some of your books and I have loved all of them. The last one I purchased was how to paint faux brick. I just purchased a house and remodeled my kitchen using the faux brick technique on the walls and then decided to faux brick my whole backsplash. I would love to win any of the prizes, seeing that I still have the rest of my house to remodel. Once again thank you for all your information that you have on your site.

Johannah B Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 8:04 pm

I am looking to connect with my artistic side, and I think I could do this! Thanks.

The World Wide Web needs to know! THAT Painter Lady is officially awarded STELLAR RECOGNITION for her selfless guidance she PERSONALLY gave to me this summer! First, to be in anyone’s shadow during a Yuma, AZ summer makes one a winner already. Second, Debra introduced me to my first client and as luck would have it, the job was funded by Oprah’s Big Give! So, if good things happen in threes, I’m hoping to be lucky enough to find Santa Claus and Debra Conrad on my doorstep this holiday! I may already be a weener! I am a Weimar and would feel like a major winner if THAT Painter Lady could find time to view my website http://www.yumaartist.com and impart her Jedi wisdom. Because when I compare my site to hers, it’s apparent that I’m not a Jedi master yet. I’m lucky enough to live in the same city so chances are good we’ll meet again. But, with the infinite challenges of starting this new business I sometimes feel like I’m diagonally parked in a parallel universe.

Dara Blaker Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 8:04 pm

I would love to win because every room in my house is white. Need I say more.

Susan Mortimer Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 11:31 pm

I feel as though I have struck gold here at this website! I have always wanted to develop skill in faux painting and have a homestead house on the open prairie to get decorated; these products would be such a help.

Sheree Osterman Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 11:36 pm

I absolutely love all your ideas and techniques.
I am going to be redoing my master bath so any one of the prizes would be a great help..

Nanette McKinney Friday, November 21, 2008 at 6:24 am

Love the new website. Thanks for doing this for US! I would love to be a sweepstakes winner. We are remodeling my husband’s grandparents house and need all the help we can get, especially for a kitchen! Thanks.

terri gipson Friday, November 21, 2008 at 12:54 pm

I love this website. I was pulled into this site with the free 7 day faux finishing painting lessons. I could bearly wait for the next lesson to post the following days. I find the new website to be very user friendly and well organized, with helps me find information more easier. I would love to be a winner of the grand prize because it is filled with everything I need to futher my experience with faux finishings, especially in the area of faux brick. This is a technique I am researching now for my kitchen project. Yet, I found all of the prizes to be a great win. Thanks for this site and all the information you provide.

Well, I would generally like to win anything, but these prizes especially because my husband and I will be buying our first house in just a few months now. Our one year anniversary is in a couple weeks and I can’t wait until we can have a real home.

My heart’s desire is to have a hacienda type look and that is how I stumbled upon this site. However, I’m really trying to find some inspirational pictures for our new house and I have yet to find that. Otherwise, I like the site. Looks good to me!

Porfirio Rodriguez Monday, November 24, 2008 at 8:12 am

I researched a lot of sites that offer tips and tricks to many faux finish applications but none hold a candle to the personal treatment I receive via your e-mail updates. I always find something interesting and useful on your site that lends its way to helping me out of a situation. Your faux brick video series was great and really was easy to understand. Thanks for allowing me to express my appreciation for everything that you do, your love for everything art is truly revealed through the pages in this site.

My house was previously a rental and California uses “navajo white” for just about every rental. A friend once said to me, “it’s like you are living in a bowl of oatmeal!”. I sooooo want to get some color in varios rooms, and winning the PrizePack would be just the kickstart I need to get started. Ooooh, what fun it could be and I could get out of the oatmeal bowl and into a Tuscan Villa!

Katie California Monday, November 24, 2008 at 3:57 pm

The faux woodgrain has done wonders for my cheapy white slab doors! One of these days I’ll get my act together and send pictures. I’m thinking of starting a faux painting business and the finishes in your PrizePack would be a good start for my supplies.

Minetta Minnick Monday, November 24, 2008 at 6:05 pm

As a faux finisher, painter, and muralist I am always looking for new techniques and easier ways to get the job done. I would love to win the Prize Pack to add to my business.

Hi all,

I think that the world of decorative painting is a fantastic place for any soul who treasures beauty to leave their mark!

I would love to win even a book, as I am trying to start a business while working. Winning a sweepstakes would be a way to channel the abundance that has been made available to all of us, even in its mystic ways.

Good luck to all of us in our artistic endeavors!

Just found your site via a tweet on twitter! We’re about to embark on the bathroom remodel and I’m lost. I have a hard time coordinating colors and it’s a little spooky. We have an old clawfoot bathtub I’ve dubbed “titanic” and I going to work the remodel around it. I really like faux finishes but I’m not sure if my limited craft gene will let me attempt it solo.

Since this is my first visit, I can’t compare this web design, but I like the way everything it layed out here. Looks great to me!
