I am very anxious to try the Deco Art Texture products. I am a self taught muralist for two years now, and have been totally dependant on terrific web resources as yours. I find I use your site most often and want to take this opportunity to thank you for your great help and inspiration.
I the pass two years painting murals professionally, I would like to specialize in paintings for autistic children. I have been thinking about experimenting with adding a variety of texture to my special designs. This seems like just the product to work with.
Thanks again, gerri NY

I’m very new at painting and decorating. I found your web site when I was looking at faux painting. I’ve had many ideals in what I wanted but didn’t know how to start. Your website has been very helpful especially for someone who has no experience. It would be great to win and learn more about painting and how to fix up my house without spending a lot of money. I am thankful in finding your website. Thanks and Happy Late Birthday.

Hi! I would love to win your contest! We are remodeling my Mom & Dad’s house (now ours) and just finished the living room-it took 13 months as we are doing all the work ourselves. I am trying to make the house look older then it is. (The 60’s were not a pretty time for houses) I still have the rest of the house and would love to try some of your technics. The web site is great! Exciting looking with lots of color and great articles. Keep up the great work!

David Maximoff Monday, December 1, 2008 at 11:02 am

I stumbled on to this site and it’s great. I have purchased the faux brick vid and once I’m done I want to move on to the faux wood grain.
I am redecorating my home country style. I am painting faux brick under the bar area and back splash in my kitchen. The wood grain will be my closet shutters. I’m looking forward to having a country home in the burbs.

Linda Monday, December 1, 2008 at 11:57 am

I live in an old house that I would love to brighten up with some painting techniques. There are layers of paint on the woodwork and I would like to be able to make it look like wood and in the kitchen I would like to make it look like a brick back splash.

Hi Debra I just love your new website, it is alot easier to follow. I have gotten so many great ideas from you, I have painted your bricks and just love them. It would be absolutely wonderful to win one of your great prizes, I use only the deco art brand of paint because it is so thick and covers so well, I also like the fact that it is a matte when it dries, just great!!!! Keep up all the good work with the web site, I have to check in all the time to see whats new. I love to paint and with times being what they are haven’t been able to get new supplies lately- would love to win some!!!! Thanks Carol

Kelly Steindorf Monday, December 1, 2008 at 5:30 pm

Hi Debra, I am from California and found your website when I was looking for a technique for painting faux bricks for a play my daughter was in. I really like your new formate. You have lots of great inspiration that I have returned to to get ideas for other sets. I hope to spend some time on my own house and winning a prize would motivate me in that direction! Keep up the inspiration!

Laura Felton Monday, December 1, 2008 at 5:59 pm

I would love to win any of the prizes.
I am very crafty. I love faux painting.
And, I love seeing new ideas and learning new techniques.

Wanda Monday, December 1, 2008 at 6:26 pm

Well….first, I love your look. Very classy. Thank you for thinking of your audience. It works.

Second, my teen daughter is a fantastic artist. She loves to paint. For her birthday way back when….her favorite gift was a handmade easel made by her dad. For Christmas last year…she painted a family portrait in her room secretly. It’s hanging in my LR now.
People go crazy when they see it.
She would kiss these sweet prizes!

I know she would so appreciate them.

Patricia Goble Monday, December 1, 2008 at 7:24 pm

I could use any of your awards. In fact, I need A LOT of help!!! I am very teach-able, not afraid to try things and know what I like but don’t come up with the concepts or ideas on my own. My walls and entire house can use all the help I can get! I love the website and love the ideas and explanations.

Leslie Adamson, Texas Monday, December 1, 2008 at 9:12 pm

Hi Debra,

I have been enjoying your website and emails for quite sometime now. I stumbled across your site originally doing research for a project in one of my Interior Design classes. I would love to win the prize pack for multiple reasons. I am working to enhance my skills as a faux painter and would love to offer these services to future clients. Keep up the good work with your website. It is absolutely fabulous and a wealth of knowledge.

I am a novice in painting. I make paper mache sculptures such as horses, cats, birds and fish, I like the large hands on types and am trying to scale down, but my detailing on the finishes still lacks and needs work. This is why I am interested in the products and the sweepstakes. Thanks for reading and have a great Christmas and New Year’s!

Kayma Duncan Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 6:54 am

I love all the ideas I get from the website and the other comments as well. I have completed several projects using the information you have provided. Thanks a bunch.

Susan Dunlap Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 7:53 am

First, hats off to your new website! Love it! You give us so much of your expertise and help along the way. I know if I run into a problem all I have to do is “Push a button”! We have an eye disease in my family so I need to use my eyes and talent NOW that God blessed me with – so I’m making up for lost time! New painting products are like a man’s new toy. Love to see what they can (and won’t) do! Looking forward to trying them either way. Thanks again for all you do and God bless you!

Barbara Bland Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 8:33 am

Cindy Burow Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 11:41 am

I would love to win this, maybe it would help me decide what to do with a really boring living room.

Mari Wilbur Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 3:34 pm

I am not very good at picking out color schemes, etc., on my own, and I love the look of faux finishes and other ideas I see in magazines and such, but don’t know how to go about it myself, so would love to win and have a little help, plus the tools to play with!

Lisa Gruber Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 3:49 am

I would love to win these great products for my faux business. I have become a single mom that is back into the work force and using my artistic talent. I have been building up my supplies with tools and materials that are useful for all kinds of painting and this would really help.
Love all your newsletters, thanks.
Happy Holidays,
Lisa

Just found your website and am excited about trying some of your ideas. We are in the process of making some changes in our house and the gift package would be wonderful to incorporate in our plans. Thanks for your great website.

Bev Ines Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 7:45 pm

I am a self-proclaimed artist at heart, but my house painting business keeps me and 1 helper fully occupied, especially with the high-end custom homes that involve all of the interior, plus finishing all of the millwork. Your newsletter keeps me in touch with the fun part of painting! I do occasionally get to woodgrain a big fancy entry door, and really special customers get a small mural or a faux finish wall in the new home, so I’d love to try the new products. The day I quit learning is the day I quit! Keep up the great inspiration. Bev Ines-Kansas

I would love any of the prizes because I am about to get into painting the interior of my house. I am at a standstill on what colors I should choose and need help. I also was thinking of doing textures and other cool stuff but am so clueless about it all.

Yvonne Friday, December 5, 2008 at 5:52 pm

Painting for me is therapeutic. Finding new ideas, materials and colors to work with always somehow inspires me to create so much more in my life. I spend so much time at work that I put a lot of effort in creating an environment that is comfortable for my clients. I get compliments all the time. My house walls are boring, Maybe winning some new tools will be just the inspiration I need to get busy at home.
ALWAYs looking for ways to grow! :)

Congrats. on the new website! Much easier to navigate!
I would love to win the grand prize as I am into textures, crafts, faux painting, jewelry making. Anything artsy I love. I am resurecting my faux painting business after 3 years. I have restored my health (long story) and am ready to paint again. Winning this would be a sign that I’m doing the right thing. Also, was just married 1 week ago. Many new beginnings. Thanks for doing what you do!!
