Watch this video for step by step instructions on how to tape your surface in order to do a faux painted stripe finish.
1. Use quality tape – low tack painter’s tape that is good for freshly painted surfaces
2. Measure your stripes with either a regular level or laser level
3. Tape the outside edge of stripe
4. Start from top to bottom and make sure there are no bubbles in the tape. You want clean smooth edges so your tape doesn’t bleed through.
5. Use something hard to press down on the tape so it adheres well to the surface.
