Painting Wall Two Colors Blending Technique

by THAT Painter Lady on Thursday, May 29, 2008

Just a quick note today…. One of my newsletter subscribers sent me a couple of pictures showing how she is painting a wall using a two color blending technique. (You can subscribe to the weekly newsletter and 7 painting lessons over in the right hand column).

This is a pretty risky technique… using colors that are not in the same color family.

But… she pulled it off beautifully:

Hi Debra

The information in your newsletters is AWESOME, I have done a faux finish on my walls and am providing pics, see what you think.

Thanks so much, Candace

Candace use the “blue” painter tape… but I always recommend the Green Pro Painter Tape because it helps prevent bleeding.

And… I think she probably used the “Woolie” to blend the two colors of paint.
