Nice job. Metallics are not easy to work with. I've seen walls where in the light, you can see the metallic and it looks beautiful, yet where there is no light, you just see a solid wall. I find that adding a tiny bit of acrylic in a darker shade than the base coat mixed with the metallic gives me the lights and darks even when there is no light. On this page of my site (http://muralsandfauxpainting.com/texture-paint.html, you can see a picture I have of a wall I did in a hotel. The base is done with tissue paper painted off white and then I added the metallic on top.

Would love more specific's, was the texture hand troweled on? was a primer used? when was the bronze paint wiped with a damp sponge, when the paint was still wet? was a woolie used or what? was a glaze used with the paint? was a base coat used? However it was done , it sure is beautiful! Thanks, mary

Hi PJ. Very very nice. The walls look like they are professionally done or a decorative wall board that a person can put up. Great effects and a great job. Yeppers those that have not yet learned the hard way about prep work never forget it a second time right!!
