Faux Wood Grain Video

by THAT Painter Lady

This is amazing! This gal purchased the faux wood grain video and used it to paint faux wood grained light fixtures and speakers. This is a painting technique I never thought of. It looks like she worked her magic on a boat, which is possible… but this is actually a very nice office.

She emailed me several times to ask specific questions about this project and I was stunned that anyone had ever thought of such a technique.

When the project was complete… I got this quick note and loads of pictures.

Thanks Debra…they came out great…you are an inspiration…..sincerely, Tara Annino

Plus… if you live in Palm Springs and are looking for faux or mural painting… you might want to give Tara a call.

HI DEBRA, I JUST MOVED OUT TO CALIFORNIA…I DON’T HAVE MY OWN BUSINESS PER-SAY…I SUB FROM A MAN WHO OWNS A PAINTING COMPANY…HE GETS ME THE OCCASIONAL FAUX/MURAL JOB.

I AM FLATTERED THAT YOU WOULD USE MY WORK ON A WEBSITE…(UNLESS IT’S : “THE WAY “NOT” TO FAUX”)
AGAIN ,THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING MY QUERY AND KEEPING IT ON SUCH A PERSONAL/COMFORTABLE LEVEL.

Hi Debra:
I’m on may way to buy your system. Please indicate if I can re-paint my 1949 Dodge woodgrained dashboard. If you gave me the indications (e-mail address), I can send photos of the actual condition of the dash so you can indicate proper colors and process etc.

We don’t recommend “my” system for anything that has to do with car restoration. The finishes I teach are “not” for someone who is looking for absolute realistic results when viewed within inches.

There are video tutorials for sale online that do teach these “more realistic” faux wood graining techniques. These are for the very
“artistic” and not for the untrained artist.

My videos teach you how to get results that will pass for wood graining on surfaces within a home or business such as doors and furniture. The techniques are easy enough for those that are not artists to get great results and the tools are inexpensive.

If you are interested in purchasing my Woodgraining videos, please check out: http://www.thatpainterlady.com/faux-wood-grain-painting-technique-video/

Thanks so much, Debra
