Good Morning Debra,
I have just ordered your DVD about faux brick. I am anxious to see your suggestions.
We are opening a custom winery and I am doing the interior decorative painting.
Unfortunately my painter has advised that I will not be able to "faux" the walls that have been painted with the required epoxy paint.
I need your expert advise…..is it possible to do any of your faux painting techniques on walls
finished with epoxy paint (health code requirement for walls in close proximity to sinks)?
Any advise is greatly appreciated….even if your answer is "NO it can't be done".
Thanks so much.
Carol Miller
PS Thank you for your faux painting insider guide tips…I have learned some valuable tips in the first three emails!

Hi Carol…
Honestly… I have never used epoxy paint. The faux brick painting can be done with
any paints as long as they can be tinted the correct colors.
If you are going to be fauxing or ragging, sponging, washing the walls
with color to look Tuscan… you won't be able to dilute the paint with
water or glaze. You would loose the epoxy paint properties that is
required by code.
So you should be able to faux paint the areas that are not required to have
the epoxy paint. Such as the display and tasting areas.
Hope this is helpful.
Debra
