we fitted our kitchen to a black and white. Our kitchen size is 3mm by 3mm and one window. any suggestion color to paint on the wall to make the room appear larger and brighter. Is dark color make the room smaller? looking forward for your kind reply. Thanks

Hi … looking for some tips ….want to give my kitchen a make over by changing just cabinets & tiles. Its an open kitchen fairly long in one part of the large room . The room has a dining table in centre and the living room at other end. I plan to have plain leaf green sofa covers with colourful pillows . The furniture is all dark wood. Now the kitchen has a marble countertop with greyveins… the floor (of the whole room) is the same white marble. The top cabinets are white and bottom are maroon. Kitchen has white tiles . My question is what colour scheme would suit – for the cabinets & the tiles?
I was thinking dark wood white silver highlights and light green or warm yellow tiles . Pls suggest . Thanks
